Heavy construction during week of 5/22 will include breaking through north wall of lab. Plywood partitions will be installed for noise/ dust protection. Most work will be done early in morning before students/faculty arrive.

D wing construction delay
On the first floor of D-wing the plumber seems to be taking longer then expected on
glass drain removal. We will see how today goes, but may need more time (i.e. Wed or Thursday).

D-Wing Duct Cleaning
The hours of work for duct cleaning have been extended; 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The contractor will start the cleaning ductwork in the ground floor. The first floor and the basement cleaning will follow in order of completion.

Duct Cleaning
Duct cleaning in D-wing
FM has approved the funding for duct cleaning in the D wing Basement, ground and first floor supply ducts. This work is scheduled for 9 through 13 May. The duct runs will be sealed and cleaned one run at a time under negative pressure with Hepa filters. The vertical supply duct shafts are all on the East side of the wing. Holes will need to be cut into each duct run to insert a robot that will do the cleaning. The holes will then be sealed with a cover plate. Cooling System Delay
The re-activation of cooling system in D wing has encountered additional problems. Parts are supposed to arrive 5/4.
